I'd say it's 'nice' in the same way the inside of a volcanic crater is 'stuffy'.

I'm assuming you took it, Lauren. I don't know, it just really resonates with me. The proportions, border, ratio... Or maybe I've just been reading too much Haruki Murakami.

I'll tell you why it resonates. See the tall building with the two spikes? It looks like Batman. And at night they light up the spikes and it creates this web-like illusion of light. And in the hot January twilight this shimmery fog descends over the web, this "what the fuck?" fog, and it looks like thousands of moths, but from that distance you know you wouldn't be able to see moths. They're bats. And the building looks like Batman. It's totally amazing.

It's a digital photograph I photoshopped really badly and stuck an old scanned manual border around. I'm a disgrace. I have to read me some Murakami. I bet i'd be all over that like Salinger.

I'd be more than happy to lend you some. My copy of Hard-Boiled Wonderland And The End Of The World is currently on loan for a review, but I just finished Norwegian Wood and I highly, highly recommend it. Warn me next time I see you and I'll be sure to press it into your hot little hand.
