tonight in viscom this sophomore who i've talked to a couple times asked me if i thought it was weird that she'd never had a plum. in her life. NEVER TASTED A SINGLE PLUM. i tried to contain myself when responding, as to not make her uncomfortable, but in my head i was having some real issues. how can a person go 20 whole years without ever

so granted i've gotten better in terms of eating fruits and vegetables, and i can stomach the occasional leaf of lettuce or raspberry...but I have never, in my life, tasted a plum...although coming from me, that probably doesn't surprise you too much...just thought i would let you know...

uh-oh em, if you too have never consumed a plum, it looks like you might be subject to the plum-shoving-down-throat treatment from me and catherine. perhaps, though, if i told you that plums tasted like candy you'd eat one on your own will?!
