1. Add me first and then comment. I want to at least have a feel for who you are before I add you, and that means reading a bit of your journal. Even if your journal isn't friends only, please do this anyway. I consider it common courtesy.
2. My name is Veronica, and this is my journal. I am as open and honest in this thing as I am in my written journal, and some of the parts of my life that I will describe won't be super happy. Generally, I am a very, very, very happy person. I try to be, but expect that my life will not always be perfect. I'm also sixteen, and prone to dramatics. Watch out.
3. I am not out to have a gigantic friends list with a bunch of elite kids who just add some glitter to my user information. Really? My life isn't that pathetic. Do not add me just to add me. I like making friends with the people on my flist. I tend to be a compulsive commenter, at least when I have the time. Plan to talk to me if you add me.
4. If you find you don't like me, take me off. No hard feelings, really. If we've both made the effort and we just don't click, then life will go on. I despise trash talkers and gossipers, so if you've come looking for your new subject of conversation ... look elsewhere.
5. Even though I'll be checking your journal for information about you, I'd appreciate if you told me a little about you when you comment, or something we have in common (friend, fandoms, etc.). I want to know you. I actually do.
