Of all the dumb people in the entire dumb world, Adam Monroe was her least favorite and definitely the most boring. So of course Daddy had to make sure she was in charge of forcing him to swallow his dumb pills even though he was so lame and old and harmless anyway. He could heal. What kind of useless power was that?

So she didn't know why she was so annoyed when some ugly tramp agent with blond hair that looked like straw started filling in for her when she showed up late. Like a few hours would hurt anyone, right? What was he going to do? Heal his way out of the door?

Anyway, she showed up super late so he appreciated her company more. She was pretty much the only person he saw because besides being kind of cute, he was sort of a big grump. Nobody wanted to be around a grumpy person, duh.

So she didn't know why this agent did. At least not until one afternoon when Elle was coming in with his tray, and there she was, laughing and flirting and tittering on like--well, it didn't matter anyway.
