Teaching our boy-band workshop first thing Friday morning. We did a whole little intro/video PLUS taught an entire number, all in less than an hour. And people were totally into it ( Read more... )

I remember tech rehearsal for Austin Showcase being really bad. This one was worse??

well, in Austin they were behind schedule. But at least they didn't YELL at us. At least they apologized for shit going wrong and didn't blame US. So yeah, WAY worse.

Yeah, it was REALLY hard to recover from. At one point the tech person told a performer "we aren't working with YOU, YOU are working with US." Hard to get back momentum and positive feelings after that sorta crap.

my FAVORITE moment was when she was yelling at everyone to sit down and then the girl on the stilts was like, wtf?! and then then brought her a ladder to sit on. Which was totally absurd.
