No one has to read this...it's just for my own notes.

I have 4 full time semesters till I can get my BA (in what I dont know) and then 2 fulltime YEARS of school to end up doing what I want to do, which is being a midwife!

Pre Reqs - Shit I need to accomplish in the next 4 semesters at Hunter in order to be accepted into the SUNY Downstate ( Read more... )

AHHHHH! NOOOOOWWWW we're talkin'! You've just inspired me so much! I'm so excited for you. I think it's perfect and suiting and you'll be a fresh face for the industry that makes a lot of gals think of burly, overweight women in flannel. lol <3 Love/so proud of you! :D

I am now seeing a midwife and I think shes great.
She always says "honey i dont deliever babies, i catch them" haha.
I am not pregnant so she is basically my gyno but better. She delievered a friends baby and she was amazing, even if you have to have a C section, she goes with you and helps you through it.

oh my gosh yes.
like, my goal is really to be educated and therefore be able to educate other women. i had no clue you could have a well woman checkup with a midwife in HS or else I SO WOULD HAVE. we all used to complain about scary docs in white coats sticking things up there but really there were other options, and we just weren't told.

i'm so excited that you know this stuff!!! Good for you!!!
