I seem to have ridiculously bad luck with Parliamentary Debate. A couple weekends ago I was supposed to go to Brown, but my partner ditched at the last minute. Now, this weekend, I'm supposed to be at Cornell. Different partner. He got sick. I might be able to go to Tufts next weekend, but that's predicted on me getting a decent start on my seminar

u really do have the worst luck. i think its fate trying to tell u smth :)but im sure ull eventually get to one of these and u have ur entire college career ahead of u, so dont worry about it (yes, the irony of me giving that sort of advice is perfectly apparent on its own thank you) but good luck on the plans for next weekend anyway

Sounds quite nasty and unfair. I do hope you can make it next weekend. Have you looked into whether anyone else has also lost their partner so you could go with them?

thats too bad that the debating hasn't been working! its unfair that your partners keep ditching you, and because of this you can't go at all.
