As some of you already know, I'm going on my Dartmouth backpacking trip tomorrow through Monday, so my online presence will be unusually nonexistent during that time.

Anyone else notice the irony of Labor Day, that white-collar salaried workers get it off while minimum-wage workers still work as usual.

I don't mind working on Labor Day, it's just another day, but the irony is rather striking.

I need serious mental help. For the second day in a row I forgot to drink my tea in the morning and then about 9:30 started wondering why I felt a massive splitting headache building.

I've always thought Bush and his cohorts were fairly unintelligent, but I realized that they might have more of a plan than we give them credit for. I realized I haven't been reading enough this summer. I've been reading this book about oil that Dartmouth wants me to read, but it's rather boring and I rather have to force myself to concentrate on it. It seems I've rather stopped using livejournal lately. This has not been a conscious decision, I simply haven't really had much to post about.
