Yet another curse

Mar 19, 2008 07:10

While not something I was planning on, it did not take long to acquire suitable clothing, and I have been turned into stranger things. After having been turned into a stuffed animal that I couldn't identify the intended type of, a ferret, and my adopted brother, just being a male version of myself isn't as jarring as it probably ought to be. Yes, Prototype 1. The prototype the will be used to check for design flaws before producing a scale model of the clock for studying.

A clock. I see.

Legos are an ideal building material?

It’s a habit to label things that way.

Not ideal for practical use, but they are good for getting back into practice building scale versions of things and I’m also getting a set for someone else as a gift.

A very curious curse. How wonderful that you are able to bear this change with elegance!

Should you have the time, I wish to thank you properly for your aid with removing that terrible cat.

How are you managing? It takes a few moments to adjust one’s balance to being the other gender.

I’m glad you think so.

I do have time, but it was no trouble, really.

[OOC: She’s judging cursed or not by the seeming gender of the icons, if she didn’t see an entry one way or the other at time of commenting. o.o]

I am fortunate to have been blessed with truly magnificent balance. One would not be able to notice any struggle to adjust on my part without a great depth of skill. I believe I am quickly learning the nuances of this new and beautiful form.

It would be unbecoming of me not to show my appreciation as it should be shown; if you would so kindly consent to join me in the butterfly garden later this day?

How fortunate for you, indeed!

Alright, I will see you there. With any luck, we should be able to recognize each other despite the curse.

Ah, Miss Amanda. I see you too are also affected with this curse. It is proving to be most fascinating.

…Sir Zhuge Liang looks pretty attractive… Oh god, I need to wash my brain with bleach now. I hope the curse hasn’t been too troublesome.

“Fascinating”? Are you referring to the reactions or is it something else?

[OOC: It’s fun to think they see the icons… Ah the problems of being male and seeing the chick!Zhugers icon; I fail at resisting temptation for messing with her mind. XD]

It has not. Certainly the balance is a little different, but I have got used to it fairly quickly.

Both to the reactions and the slight differences my mind appears to me working to.

[ooc: Well, chick!Zhugers is super hot. XXD I DON'T BLAME HER/HIM?]

That’s good news.

Studying the effects of the curse seems like it would be a good way to cope. I hope it goes well for you.

The first time the City turned me into a man was worse…

How are you?

Oh, I'm quite fine~! Enjoying today, actually!

Not having a difficult time adapting to your body for the day, Amanda-san?

I suppose the situation could be amusing, if I was not among the affected, or at least it would give plenty of opportunity to help others adjust.

It’s strange… but I think I will be alright.

You sure you're okay - not too jarred, or anything?

I’m sure that I can tolerate this for twenty-four hours. Why do you ask?

By the way, how are you?
