What’s a civilian doing here? It isn’t safe and I thought they would have headed the announcements to evacuate before the situation deteriorated.

…I wouldn’t think a soldier would use superstitious explanations for why the situation has turned out this way, to be completely honest. Though, I appreciate the attempt to help make this situation make sense.

Of course not... At least you've noticed that things are off. Something is influencing people's minds making them perceive their allies as enemies and lash out at them.

It’s impossible to contact those who should be here and things that should be here aren’t… How could I not think something isn’t right?

Something influencing people’s minds? That sounds unlikely, but I’ve heard rumors about beings that could get inside people’s heads somehow and drive them mad which would probably have similar results to people thinking allies are enemies.

…hm… I doubt I’m going to attack anyone unless they try to attack me first, especially my allies- that’s no way to treat comrades or heroes; I’m not sure how affected by whatever is happening in this area that fact makes me.
