I seem to have acquired a grizzly bear who says his name is Caelium. He's not particularly inclined to talk to anyone, but he assures me that he has no intention of assaulting anyone or anything without my consent. I've seen suggestions that these are manifestations of our souls; I wonder what having a bear says about me, if that is the case...

Oh well, I don't mind having something to puzzle over during my free time and it might be a good thing that my daemon is fairly large- I wouldn't want Alexander to decide to try to hunt my soul.

Are you affected?

Hummingbirds are pretty rare back home, but I've seen those before. They are rather busy, though refined looking birds, aren't they?

It means you're very formidable and I'm very glad you consider me a friend. Your daemon's name is so fascinating - I don't think I've ever heard it before.

Hm, thank you. To the best of my knowledge, bears don't tend to attack unless provoked or someone goes too close to their den, so there wouldn't be anything to worry about if having a bear means I'm like one.

...I thought I would get something smaller or more domesticated, though.

Are you affected?

Smaller and domesticated aren't words I would use to describe you at all, Manda.

No, I'm not. I almost feel like I'm missing out, but it's too much fun seeing what everyone else is.

Too bad for me, then; I was thinking something like a ferret...

Waverly has a... something. It doesn't seem to be a normal animal.

What you do think you would have if you were affected?

A bear, hmmm? Not exactly what I would have pegged for you.

Try and guess mine.

OOC: Reeve is enjoying this way too much.

What did you have pegged for me?

Hm... A cat? Or maybe a swift fox? Or maybe a beaver... beavers are busy animals... It's not normal procedure for me to try to associate people with animals.

[OOC: And mun's brain coughs up a mental image of something like this except with the beaver in a suit and no text when trying to put the concept of Reeve with the concept of that animal... *phail*]

Well, obviously your intelligence would be a factor, but considering all the facets of your personality -- I would think some sort of very astute bird. A raven, perhaps, or a myna?

...A beaver? What makes you say that, exactly.

OOC: You're the second person to say beaver, haha. He originally had an otter, but I don't think that's dopey enough for Reeve. TOTALLY going to retcon.]

That does make sense and would certainly be less puzzling.

Nothing in particular; the idea just happens to amuse me.

[OOC: Though otters are cool, do it~ *enables like an enabling thing*]
