Personally, I wouldn't mind building little huts. or houses underground. Towers are so tall and time consuming.
Heh, the natives of El Junglo have grass huts with dirt floors. that's their little world. It may be destroyed in times of flood and Wild Mongoose attacks, but really... They just rebuild, and try to be happy again. However, they steer clear of mongeese.
