Peter Jackson (of Lord of the Rings fame) is making a film that's set and partially shot in my hometown.

Yes, I'm always the last to notice these things.

Cool. I think I'll see if I can find out anything about their requirements for extras, although it seems like a much smaller set than his last movie ("King Kong")!

It's in post-production, so principal filming is over.
