I'm sorry, I really, really liked Miracle of Science, but I just don't get Afterlife Blues.

I'll keep reading, maybe it's all important backstory and they'll do something interesting soon.

Yeah, this was all the setup before they start shooting at each other and breaking into buildings and such. It's meant to be read as a full story, so coming out two pages per week like this was less than ideal for the beginning, but things pick up shortly.
