I saw you posted this last night and I deliberately saved it for this morning ^_^

This is brilliant. You're so good at subtle, understated drama; a car crash takes place and instead of giving us the gory details, you decide to show us Ike and Zac trying to keep it together, not knowing in what state they're going to find Louisa. The description of the hospital 'experience' is perfect, down to the robot-like 'uncaring' nurse, and Isaac's zombie-like trance.

"He sat dazed, his eyes never leaving the nurse, as if by staring at her he could quicken her search."

I can really see him.

I love it how Isaac needs Zac with him and how Zac is happy to be able to do something; how, despite everything they have been through so far, they still care so much about each other.

I love this story, I can't wait to read the next chapter!

i'm finding the next few chapters quite hard to write tbh, due to the subject matter and work commitments. but knowing that there're people who are interested in knowing what's going to happen is definitely the encouragement I need :)
