Well, I've decided not to go to the con after all. I did get Friday off from work, but my car is showing a disturbing tendency to overheat when I'm idling waiting at a traffic light or such. I could take the bus, but that takes about 2+ hrs as opposed to driving so I wouldn't have all that much time over 1 day anyway

Oh, I'm sorry. The money problem is always a thing, isn't it? As it turned out, they've decided they can pay OT for holidays, and I got first choice, so since I can't go to MWC, I'm working Monday.

It's 5 hours of straight time and only 2 of double, but it's time. And money.
