i had to dabble in the other sites too, plus having Leah and Dana on facebook is so nice, each seems to have advantages and disadvantages!

You can set it up so LiveJournal posts automatically turn into Facebook notes. I don't do that because I do so much bitching in my LJ, and also I have people on my Facebook friends list I don't want reading my LJ. But it's do-able.

I missed you. FB is great, but there isn't the coffeehouse mood to it like there is here. FB is like going to a big party where everyone you know is. You have a limited time, so you get one or two sentence updates from each person before moving onto the next.

LJ is like going to your favorite coffeehouse where you have a few friends and all the time in the world to catch up with them.

I find LJ warm and comforting and FB slightly manic and a little batshit insane at times.
