At seven o'clock, all passengers are whished away from their current location, in whatever state of dress (or undress) or activity they were currently in, and relocated to the dance floor of the O2. The dance club has been decorated for Valentine's day, complete with red, white, and pink streamers hanging from the ceiling and walls. The walls also feature several pictures of Cupid, Saint Valentine, and romantic couples among hearts and flowers cut out of construction paper. The little hearts made of light that have been following the passengers since the beginning of Saturday, now float above everyone's heads by the ceiling, while red and white lights shine on the moving disco balls hanging from the ceiling.
The tables are all covered with pink cloth, and at the center of each is a vase of red roses surrounded by white rose-shaped candles and silver and gold heart-shaped glitter. The tables near the bar feature several different finger foods and more desserts than have ever been available at one time. Sandwiches have been cut into heart shapes. Sushi arrangements are available, grouped to form hearts and ginger arranged to look like roses. Cupcakes feature tiny cupids made of sugar in the center of pink frosting. There are also cookies and brownies, cake and pie, ice cream and mousse, and several kinds of sugar and chocolate candies available to try. If interested, passengers will find more truffles available to sample, much like those they found in their rooms.
As for drinks, there is a table devoted entirely to a new drink that's been made specially available for this part. The clear glass bottles feature white and pink labels on the front, and in red script clearly read, "Love Potion No. 09." There appear to be several flavors, including a light pink lemonade flavor, a dark red strawberry flavor, a yellow orange-mango flavor, and a clear vanilla flavor. The drinks are lightly carbonated like an Italian soda, and
as mentioned before will strengthen the drinker's pre-existing feelings of affection for others, and dampen any animosity they might have for another person. There are no warning labels on the drinks, and they do not mention that this effect will take place, or that it will last until noon the next day.
Captain Redd seems to have gone all out for the party, including enforcing a mandatory humanization of all non-human passengers. Don't worry, it will wear off about the same time the Love Potion No. 09 does!
Speaking of our dear Captain, passengers will note that Redd is standing on the bar with a microphone in hand. He appears to be wearing a red smoking jacket with a black collar and smoking a bubble-pipe in his other hand.
"Duckies, poppets, and other passengers of an indeterminable nature," he begins, walking down the length of the counter, and then spinning on his heel to travel back to the other side, "Please do enjoy the party. There are bubblies and bon bons and a beautifully sculpted--"
Redd cuts off abruptly. He scans the room, seeming to be searching for something in particular. Not finding it, Redd makes an exasperated noise and snaps his fingers. An ice-sculpture of Redd and Heron appears on a rectangular table in front of him. Ice-Redd appears to be embracing the Ice-Heron lovingly as he kisses her beak.
"Ahem. A beautifully sculpted ice display. Uncle Reddy does so love his romance. Enjoy, darlings!"
With a flourish, Redd throws the microphone into the crowd. It bursts into silver and gold confetti over the crowd just as Redd blows a kiss to the passengers and disappears.
