Just as promised, deck seventeen has been outfitted for a party. The lights have been dimmed and incense has been lit. A full bar has been set up at each end and center of the deck. Hookahs sit in the middle of clusters of cushions and pillows

[Hookahs, a bar, and food? This is the makings of a good party.

He helps himself to the fruit and the chocolate while resisting the sweet, sugary lure of the cakes and cookies and whatnot.

He does not, however, resist the lure of the booze. Mmm, booze. You are Tan's friend, booze. Come to papa.]

[Several hours later, Bryn was wasted. She'd had far more alcohol in that evening than she had the last few weeks, and had spent a solid hour at the hookah. The girl was feeling no pain.

Through the haze, Bryn was able to make out that Tanvir was at the party too. She stumbled over to him with a wide smile on her face.]

Tanviiiir you're heeeeere!

[Don't mind her, she's gonna just, grab his arm to steady herself. She's good, really.]

[Tanvir's....not too super steady himself! ...He's not half as bad off as Bryn is, though, holy shit.]

[He's got his other arm out to catch her, in case she falls. And he's laughing.]

[Bryn is in another state of mind. It's an awesome place to be which is why she's fine about grasping onto him and leaning heavily. Tanvir's her new friend! He won't mind right?]

I tooootally have. This is like...the best holiday ever isn't it?

[ Lucifer was quite pleased with the announcement of the party. He had no interest in celebrations held in the name of national heroes or whatever, but this thing just seemed like an excuse for getting people drunk and high, things that he did care about.

Right now, he's sitting on a pillow with a plate full of sandwiches by his side ]

Goten is going to lug over his own loaded plate and settle on a nearby cushion. He seems preoccupied with eating until he notices the gentleman a few cushions away and chirps happily around his mouthful of sweets,]

He flops down near Lucifer, chowing down on a very large blueberry muffin. It's his sole fruit intake of the day, if you don't count the pineapple on the pizza he inhaled earlier.

He smiles cheerfully at Lucifer.]

[Now that's a face that looks oddly familiar. It takes a few moments of Kevas squinting at her before it fits into place.]

[She raises a bottle of beer in toast.]

...I'm going to enjoy this.

[Her smile turns more subdued.]

[Excuse Kevas while he makes a quick check of his body, making sure Redd didn't switch his species on him again.

Once he's sure that he's still his good old troll self Kevas toasts his own beer.]

[Twig is very, very wary of this party, but he knows from experience that people talk most when they are drinking, and as drink is in large supply here, he's down to mingle and see if he can scrounge up any more information about the boat.

So that he doesn't stick out amongst the partygoers, he has a small drink, but after hearing how this celebration came about, he doesn't intend to eat anything or drink any more.]

Lily has been watching a glowing orange elephant circle the room for about ten minutes, now.]

Great. A young girl has found her way to an adult party, and is now apparently hallucinating.]

Lily, I think maybe you should go back to your room. Would your parents want you somewhere like this?
