Razer makes a slight face at the mess and gloom of the place, but what else was he expecting? This ship is a madhouse, and madhouses get dirty without someone sane to tend to them.

This deck is boring. Still, he's here to learn, so he steps out of the elevator and looks around. Catches sight of the patch of scarlet on the far wall, and slowly makes his way toward it. He lifts one hand--thankfully gloved, he hadn't known what he would come across down here and hardly wanted a great portion of it on his skin--and trails his index finger along the wall with the air of someone with nothing better to do.

It feels disgusting even through the glove, and he stops to see if he's carved a trail through the grime or something. It certainly feels like it, and if that's the case he's curious what could be underneath.

There's a greasy smear where Razer's glove touched the wall. Beneath, the dull silver of the metal wall can be seen.

...Well, he wouldn't have guessed it was metal under all this muck. But at least that proves that the grime can be cleared away--which leads him to something he can do before checking that red spot.

He meanders around a little, humming very quietly to himself, and picks a poster. Then he takes his hand, fingers tight together, and rubs at it furiously for several seconds in an attempt to clean it off and decide whether or not any of this is worth snagging.

Beneath, the head of a Black Oystercatcher can be seen.
