The Coup ~fifth descent~

After the blinding gaudiness of the wigs, this deck appears depressingly normal and grey. Much like the first deck they encountered, this one follows an industrial theme, though it is kept sparklingly clean, and the harsh scent of disinfectant makes it smell disturbingly like a hospital emergency room ( Read more... )

On to the next one~! Tank boy will step out onto the deck, at this point his hands neatly stuffed into his pockets from general lack of interest. Wigs didn't satisfy his new, flesh-bag driven curiosity as the floor below it did.

The doll staring at him gives the fish more chills than the memory-conjuring smell. Jeremiah will sigh and run a hand through his hair.

The fish will stare back for quite a while, naiad-like eyes scanning that face for any signs of a fucked up, spooked life trying to scare the crap out of him. After awhile of this staring contest, Jeremiah's eyebrow will raise.

The doll continues to stare.

Okay...now if theres one thing that really does freak Mikaela out, it's dolls.

Still, there might be something important about it, so she heads over to it to check it out.

It's a very nice doll, with pale skin and blue, glassy eyes. Its hair is braided into two little pig tails, and it stares at Mikaela with a blank smile.

Haseo looks at the doll once, but doesn't bother with it. He's a gamer; the obvious solution often triggers a boss fight. Or something.

And the hospital smell bothers him. He hates hospitals. It puts him in a grumpy enough mood to kick a door open. there will be a pattern with kicking things.

BAM!

The door slams open and bounces off the wall, slooowly creaking shut again.

It leads to the area beneath the observation deck, where the horse-hand abominations slowly continue their work.

So long as he got it recorded, he doesn't worry about bothering the... well, freaks. They might be violent or something.

Next door, on the other side. He kicks with a little less force this time.

It swings open easily.

Inside is a tiny cell. There's graffiti on the walls, and a small dirty bunk bed at the end.
