There's been a spot of trouble with one of the volunteers for the carnival, and she had to drop out at the last minute; you're the only one I could think of who could paint, and that I could count on, to fill the spot. I hope this note finds you well. I write to you today to ask you to make good on the offer of further assistance to Hogwarts. Although today I do not seek a further monetary donation, but rather a donation of your time.
If you might be available for a few hours during the week of the Hogsmeade Carnival you would be doing the school a large service. And I do believe the booth you'd be helping in would go along well with your line of business.

Just to let you know that the 26th we will not be opening our booth until 11. I want to make sure things are running smoothly before opening the first day, but otherwise it should be open from 10-4 over the next two days. You are going to help me the full three days, non?
