Yay for new baby kittens! You know, I have found that it takes much less time for the older ones to accept new members of the furdom if they are babies, rather then adults. I would expect that the hissing and growling will subside in a day or two. Congrats! Another furlion adopted into a loving home! WooHoo!
Bleah. I got called just as I'd gotten laid off a few years ago, for the Grand Jury stuff. Fortunately, I didn't get stuck on one of the regular ones, who had to come in one day every week for three months. I got to be in the "on-call" pool and call every week to see if I had to come in any time that week. I think I got to go in twice. Basically, the grand jury decides if it goes to court or not, and if so, on which charges.
