At first I Love Egg seems like just another weird Korean animation.

But the more I watched it, ( the more I realized... )

Exactly.

Where is that quote from? And why am I awash in a feeling of deja vu?

"What makes a man hate a man for the color of his skin?
It relieves the conscious,
there's something wrong with human nature! (-ture, -ture, -ture, -ture)"

You know, I can't for the life of me remember the name of that band right now. It's not Bjork's "Human Nature" song, though, it's some guy.

*looking it up*

Gary Clail and the On-U Sound System. There ya go. :)X

er, that should be "conscience", not "conscious". Damn hands automatically typing words they're used to. :PX

Yes, we are only supposed to love the white egg, however the eggs turn all sorts of different colors, at least in the costumes the dress up in, so that is an interesting side note :-)
Regardless, the movie made me laugh and laugh, so thank you! :-)

I'm glad you enjoyed it. It was cute, for all its disturbing subtext.

Well, we have those talking M&Ms. They freak me out.

Do you suppose anyone ever actually consumes them (within the confines of the fiction of the commercials)?

Although it's creepy enough to see some random guy leering at them like he thinks they'll be tasty.

I'm thinking the "white" might be referring to the inside bit, not the shell.

"All eggs are the same color on the inside, man..."

not entirely true. the white can become colored from natural pigments in the shell, as well as artificial dyes. didn't you ever eat a blue egg on easter?
