This is absolutely ridiculous.

[Not that he can do anything about it. He's tied up, along with the other prisoners of war, which is just silly considering he had absolutely nothing to do with the African Theatre. No, he and Hungary were busy getting the crap beaten out of them over in Europe, so there was absolutely no reason for him to be ( Read more... )

austria sucks at everything, french foreign legion event, event, i hate the great war, prisoner of war, of course this is france's fault, being a whiny bitch

Would you rather be participating in this war?

[That's reasonable enough for Austria.]

I did participate in this war, actually. Certainly not in Africa though, nor in such uncomfortable weather.

It is not, but my ex-wife and I were fighting in Europe around this time, and comparatively, it was not nearly so warm. Miserable, indeed.

[lmfao Gokudera is also a prisoner, because apparently the mansion knows just how badly he reacts to people telling him what to do.]

This isn't even close to historically accurate.

[The mansion is just good like that. It also seemed pretty aware that hell would freeze before Austria sided with France again. And someone is bitter, bitter, bitter.]

Certainly not. It's idiotic. But I suppose Wonderland would think it too boring to allow events to play out as they actually occurred. And of all the changes that could have been made, this is far from ideal.

Do you mean the historical inaccuracies or the fact that we're stuck in the fucking desert for the next few days?

I still haven't even figured out why, exactly, I'm a prisoner of war.

[Not that he thinks he'd have made a good recruit. He's just had nothing better to do since waking up than try to figure this out.]

It is applicable to both, truthfully.

Somehow, I suspect not every prisoner has a reason for being so. You may have simply been captured, with no proper explanation.
