OK, do you ever wear "understated gold jewellery"?

I'm applying for university next month as well and I dont even know where I'm going and I havent written my personal statement either....

I never wear understated gold jewellery actually, despite my mother's attempts at buying me delicate gold chain with heart pendants (excepting on Friday, when i wore one to my cousin's wedding reception). It just doesn't suit me; I only ever wear silver.

Art is a bit of a sore subject at the moment.
