Well, it appears that City Temple Conference Centre, where they're having our exams (the first in three hours)? Is City Temple Church and Conference Centre. As churches go they're apparently very liberal, but I'm still really hoping I don't have anyone encouraging me to accept Jesus Christ as my personal Lord and Saviour whilst I'm trying to dredge ( Read more... )

Yeah, they do that when you have exams in churches. Just like my first year exam in Stoneham dining hall, they wouldn't give me five minutes in peace to write about electron shells, they just kept offering me sub-standard food! =p

When we sat exams last week at the Bishopsgate Institute who hire out halls to the University of London, they kept offering us an education. Seriously, if I wanted one of those I would have got one rather than going to university.

On the plus side thing about other-use fancy buildings is they have very pretty architecture. I had an exam in a senate hall once, plenty to look at when you finish early and want something to look at when you're checking over your answers :)
