[ The feed clicks on as a pencil lands on Jim's Tone before clattering to the floor. From the view of the young captain's face, it's obvious he's exhausted. It looks like he hasn't slept in over, say, seventy-two hours. Which may be why his eyes are drooping and he's falling asleep in his notes.
Those familiar with the flat he shares with Spock may notice that where he is... isn't it. It's an incredibly run-down little room that's covered in papers and books and there may or may not be a smudge of ink on Jim's cheek. There's a broken down heater in one corner and the poor boy's all bundled up in blankets that are slipping off as he sleeps.
Someone should probably wake him up so he can get warm. ]
