[ At first there is what can only be described as a combination of half of the curses known to mankind heard and then one very distinct word manages to filter through. ] Dammit.

[ One would think that the tone is the reason his normal drawl is somehow more pronounced, but the drawl is increasing as his frustration at wondering where he is at this particular moment in time is increasing at an alarmingly fast rate. ] My god, I haven't seen something like this other than in a damn museum. Is this even real, or is everyone down here trying to go for a cute little rustic look? Either way, this isn't exactly--cute.

[ Don't mind the growl that you can hear though, it's a way for him to articulate this frustration that's getting worse as he's walking without resorting to cursing everyone and everything. ] I told Jim I didn't want to go on this mission. I knew something bad was going to happen as soon as the words, "we're beaming down" left his mouth. Hell for all I know, I'm clear on the other side of the damn planet. At least I'd have proof that the transporters are the most dangerous invention known to mankind.

[ He stops his rant there, taking a deep breath before letting out an agitated exhale. ] Enterprise, if you're there and listening, this your Chief Medical Officer Leonard McCoy and I would appreciate it if one of you got me out of this damn place right about now before something native manages to kill me.
