[ Waking up from a bad dream probably would have been a better feeling. There were regrets, that's for certain, and she was trying not to think about a few of the specifics too much. Some things stood out in her mind; the threats, the manipulation and the confusion. Even some of the feelings she had that she just couldn't shake, like they were apart of her and not that other her.
Between that and the cold that still plagued the city she decided to hold up in her apartment for the day. Better to stay here and out of the way while everyone readjusted... she couldn't be the only person going through this now. This city was going to drive her crazy, she just knew it.
She managed to send one video message out, hoping they anyone who she happened to speak to, run into, walk by or stand next to over th course of the last two weeks would pick up on the sincerity. ]
I apologize to those of you who had the pleasure of interacting with me... I wasn't myself. Maybe none of use were but... really, I am sorry.
[ She sighs lightly on the feed before ending the recording. Words were just that. Perhaps the message was in vain; the damage had already been done. ]
