[Despite of never really letting anything get to him, visibly at least, Kanda is feeling somewhat uneasy today. He hadn't seen Lavi (mistyredhead ) all day; he usually always turns up to say good morning before they leave for work. He doesn't think much of it at first, but as time passes, it's starting to get a little oppressive.]

[ Tieria had caught a glimpse of that uniform, and what looked like the very emblem Lavi once showed him. Could this be one of Lavi's friends? This man likely knew Lavi for longer than he did, and felt the loss much more keenly.

It wasn't his place to interfere, of course. But Lavi had once snapped him out of depression. He could at least honor Lavi's memory by returning the favor to his friend. Or try to, anyway.

Deep sigh, 'cause that guy sounds like he'll be pretty tough to talk to. ] My condolences.

[His first reaction to this is shit, did the damn thing broadcast something that shouldn't have again. He doesn't know this person, nor does he like the tone.]

[Because it sounds like he's being comforted, and he hates that, because whoever it is has no idea. It sounds like he 'lost' someone, and it's not like that, because going home is a good thing; he's the one who's lost and he can deal with it, dammit.]

[Kanda's frown eases just a little bit, but his gaze is still somewhat judging. He does know Lavi got close to a few strangers in here, but that doesn't mean he needs to roll with it.]

If you really knew him, you wouldn't say that. He fucking hated being trapped in this place.

[Ai was sitting in the hallway with her knees being held against her chest. The little kogal had already looked very disappointed the past week and a half or so after losing so many people she was almost ready to call "friends".

Looking absently at a sewing needle in one hand, in her other hand she held a a large, extravagant white hairpiece with ribbons. She should be finishing up this for Juliet's wedding dress but she couldn't find the drive to do so.]

[Kanda walked down the hallway, looking a little surprised for a moment as he saw that annoying girl he's made go out with Lavi looking all depressed. Huh, did he actually leave a good impression on her? Well, it wasn't really that surprising, just --]

[It both made him feel a little bad and contented that it had been a success.]

[He gave her a quick glance as he walked past, however didn't say anything. For a moment, he had to wonder if she even knew. Oh well.]

...If it had been anyone else, she probably wouldn't of bothered though.

Getting up from her spot on the ground, Ai began to follow behind him silently without saying a word.]

[Kanda cocked an eyebrow for a moment, not quite sure how he was supposed to take it, but he definitely wasn't planning to speak first. So he just continued on his way paying no attention to the girl until he was in front of his own door and fishing in his pocket for the key.]

[ Alexander wasn't one to essentially feel another's absence. In fact, the entire reason he strolled down the Mezzo's hall again was to surprise Lavi with a visit, and perhaps discuss with him this most recent idea for a Libretto extravaganza.

His happy little skip and hum came to an abrupt halt at a rather loud crash. The blond quickly hid behind a corner and waited, peeking out. Until someone came walking out.

A burglar? An assassin? That was Lavi's room, right? Oh, gosh, Lavi!

Between worries and whimpers Alexander somehow managed to pick out enough courage to speak up, still partially hidden behind his little corner ]

Um. S-sir? That--um. That wouldn't happen to have been, um, a Lavi's room you just now exited, by chance?

[The not-burglar/assasin stops in his tracks threateningly and turns his head towards the direction of Alexander's voice in horrifying slowness.]
