After much debate with myself and my mother, we have made the heartbreaking decision to sell Jack:

AWH! I know how hard it is. Just last week I had to get rid of my horse which I had for 7 years. It was one of the most heartbreaking things I had to do. I have a new horse now but it doesn't take away the pain. Anyways just send Jack to a good home and Im sure he'll be alright :)
