I have student insurance, however the psych drugs wont be covered. I have already looked into it... they can get me on other drugs, however not the ones for borderline personality/anti psychotics which are $500 per month for just that one drug.
Have you looked into the programs with the drug companies where you can get the drugs for free? Also, Bloomington has a medication assistance program through their public aid office, which you should qualify for. Could be worth looking into..
I have looked into it but since I am a full time ISU student and they theoreticaly have similar assistance programs I don't qualifly for Mclean CO. assistance program... I looked into this fairly first thing, with the hopes that it wouldn't get to this point. and as far as ISU goes I can get a new diagnosis and they can get me some drugs, however they really don't have any drug assistance program other than they will charge my student account for the script and when my loans are applyed they will cover it then.
Sorry to hear that life is so out of sorts for you. Ive been on that same rollercoaster before. Im no expert, but i do know that there are several natural herbal products which are supposed to be effective in countering depression and energy problems. Those may be much more affordable. Just a thought. Wish i had some answers for you..but i cant even find my way out of my own pit..... i am listening though. *hugs*
