For various reasons, I'm trying to take up running again. The current goal is 1800m in 7 minutes (4.2 m/s), which is actually Quite Difficult. I managed 637+91+538m in about 162+29+202s before my diaphragm decided to give in, which works out at around 3.9,3.1,2.7 m/s (or "pretty crap"). I'm not sure how I managed ~1810 at 3.4 m/s last year
