How to have a shower:
On Sunday: Notice that the shower head seems to be coming apart. Notice that no amount of turning or squeezing seems to change this. Leave it and shower.
Today: Notice that the shower head has come apart further. Ignore this. Turn the shower off when it sprays water out the top and onto the ceiling. Turn shower head a bit more

Do you not have a maintainance request thing you can do so they fix it?

Or get some duct tape. Duct tape fixes everything.

No longer a student anymore, so it's about bugging the landlord, and he doesn't seem to bother with anything non-urgent for around two months.

Duct tape has the unfortunate tendency to turn into a sticky mess.
