About two weeks ago Hubby and I adventured our way to Exposition Park. Exposition Park is located across the street from USC (University of Southern California) and near-ish to downtown. Such lovely photos! It sounds like a fabulous adventure :)

I know how hard it can be when schedules don't mesh at all, Mate and I went through that a few times over the years, and while it's never exactly fun, you do manage to find a rhythm that works and definitely it helped us to learn to cherish the time we DO have together that much more when we get it.

(hugs love and miss you!)

I agree with my missus -- so beautiful! I'm really glad M was able to land a job that he can enjoy in a place where he can thrive. You will find your rhythm. All the stuff in my life right now leaves me syncopated and yearning for calm, too. So this is something I also keep having to work on. Blessings, warm thoughts & hugs.

I love Exposition Park and the Rose Garden. I used to spend afternoons there when I had free time to study while I was at USC. Your visit looked lovely!

I just stumbled across this post. I'm down in San Diego and your post reminds me a LOT of myself... especially last year when I was unemployed in January; there was an abundance of tea, blankets, and puzzles. It's fun to know you're close geographically. I hope you're enjoying So Cal!
