I love that! The next time sometime tries to tell me that the "Bible says...", I'll remember Barlett's answer. Another argument I often hear is, "Well, homosexuality must be wrong because Sodom and Gomorrah was destroyed because of gay people." *rolls eyes* My typical response is, "Show me archeological proof that G-d destroyed Sodom and Gomorroah. And then show archaeological proof that G-d destroyed it because of homosexuality." For all we know, G-d could've destroyed it because it was an eyesore. Or maybe it had a bad smell.

This entry reminded me of a quote by the wonderful Dorothy Parker, "Heterosexuality isn't normal. It's just common."
