OMG, a lesbian woman gets custody of a child in West Virginia?? That is awesome! I can officially say now that West Virginia has one-upped Kentucky. Not that I'm knocking West Virginia or its citizens or anything, but I've always thought of WV to be the political and ideological twin of Kentucky... I have newfound respect for WV! Maybe Kentucky will follow suit should the issue arise here.

Wow! Now if only VA would follow in WV footsteps. *sigh* Not likely. Why must I live in a military area? But really, that is awesome. When I started reading it I almost couldn't believe it was WV. But do you think the court would give a gay/lesbian couple custody of a child? I think maybe that's stretching a bit...
