In which our heroine sings show tunes, and makes a post focusing primarily on the theatrical arts.

I'm on another The Last Five Years kick. It's probably all I'll be listening to for the next weeks. At least it will be when I'm home alone and able to sing loudly. Just my little way of stickin' it to my noisy upstairs neighbors. I may not be able to sing well, but I can definitely project. Years and years of theater, don'tcha know. ( Read more... )

He's the main guy in 28 Days Later. Awesome in that, as well. Love him. He's had some roles in other stuff, Cold Mountain, for example, but nothing really big.

Yeah, I saw that he was in Cold Mountain. Does that mean I'd actually have to watch it? 'Cause... the thrall isn't that strong.

Which is sad, seeing as we actually OWN Cold Mountain, and I still have zero desire to see it.

How are you? Plans to come to Dayton coming to fruition?

Nah, don't watch Cold Mountain if you're just looking for Cillian Murphy. I've seen it and I don't even remember him in it.

Plans for Dayton have yet to evolve. I need to sit down with Tim and talk about this. If it doesn't happen in March, then I don't think it can happen, because the hotel picks up and the chances of me getting a weekend off are slim. I'll talk to him this weekend.

OMG, how much did you love Red Eye? Isn't Brian Cox the hardest working man in show biz? He's in everything!

Cillian is so freaking hot. Did you watch the little featurettes? They're actually pretty interesting and you get to hear Cillian's accent. You also find out that he is married - boo.

Why did you hate 28 Days Later? I saw that movie at about 2am once and don't remember a lot about his performance.

You know, I honestly can't remember exactly why I disliked 28 Days Later. So maybe hate was too strong a word to use. I disliked it. I remember being pleased with the ending, but beyond that (and the completely pointless full frontal nudity at the beginning - hey, we've seen him naked!), I'm drawing a complete blank.

Brian Cox is *totally* the hardest working man in show business. Plus, he looked 20 years younger in this movie. He's terribly hot.

And he's married - according to IMDB - with a kid.
