Frankly, I wouldn't worry about it too much. I second-guess myself (I guess everyone does), but no one's come and yelled at me yet, and I let through a lot more than you do. I probably do more rewriting than I should, but it's so much easier to do that than kick it back and wait and wait and never know if you're going to be stuck waiting a whole week to get paid because the stupid writer decided to abandon the article. Basically, I kick things back for issues with the references or if I have a question about the content. But if I can read it and visualize the steps in my head as I go, and the references are kosher, then I let it go through (after I've cleaned up the text, obv
