Dad & I went into Manhattan today. We spent the middle of the day on the newly reopened Intrepid, which was cool (and cold) but not worth the $20 admission price (plus $25 for parking). Unless we missed an entire deck of stuff, which is possible ( Read more... )

Pleasepleasepleasepleaseplease get me as many shots of the Georgia Tech Band as you can. 100-year anniversary, and all that.

Um, how much is the price tag for five pleases? :)

I'm going thru them now. The GT band was right in front of Miley Cyrus. Not sure how many came out well. The lighting sucked in Columbus Circle.

What a wonderful time to be in New York! I bet it's spectacular with all the decorations!

We pretty much stuck to the parade route. Getting in and out of the city is a pain, so Dad keeps the time there to a minimum to beat traffic getting home. (It didn't work on Wednesday - took two hours to get home: 30 minutes to get across Central Park and another 40 minutes to get out of Manhattan.)
