I really hate my mother sometimes. She's always complaining about how I don't care about the family or home life at all. I spent the whole freaking summer totally disconnected from my friends and any kind of social life working all day every day on the house stuff, which, conseqently, made my summer totally suck, but now that I'm back in school she

I know how you feel. My mom is like that SO much last year, but I think I fought her to the point that she gave up or realized her mistake. Maybe you should talk to her and try to express that you just want to not waste your senior year. I'm sure she's also sad about the fact that she's not going to see you after highschool that much.

It sounds sort of like your mom's oldest moved out and her youngest is a senior in high school who's been looking at east coast colleges.
