did you figure it out? YOu slip the first stitch, then knit.

I did figure it out, and it turned beautifully. Except that I didn't knit/purl to the first stich before the gap, I knit/purl that stich and then ssk/p2t... So it looked great, but I had too many stiches left. So I ripped the heel out, and am now trying to pick up the stiches... I'm halfway down the heel flap. I think that I'm going to have to take it home and use a needle and waste yarn to save it, then put it on the dpn.

So frustrating. It was going so well. But, silly me, my own fault.
