OMG! I can't believe the number of texts Irene sent. Holy cow! I'm such an amateur at this. I was agonizing over the right thing to say and always trying to add and capitalize the -SH.

But what a hoot that both of you got together and had your own little party on my birthday. Hee!!!!!!!!!

Haha, I am a mad-texter! I have a Blackberry (How Irene of me!) and I've gotten pretty fast at it. Awww, I have definitely agonized over RP before and so I definitely know what that feels like, but I just had fun and fired off texts yesterday, as long as I could picture Irene saying them. I couldn't do Sherlock though! I'm way too scared of getting it wrong to attempt his voice, so definite props to you for doing it!

Haha, we felt a little silly that we were getting together and having a couple drinks on your birthday without you there, but it was all in your honor! ;)

I'm so happy to see what Adler was up to yesterday! I figured I shouldn't have Lestrade respond to her much because it probably wouldn't be good police procedure. I'm so curious about your Lestrade roleplaying! I don't write fic so this was a stretch for me, but I do have a substantial Lestrade crush. :-)

Ah, okay, I thought maybe you were just busy. That makes sense though. :) Yeah, I definitely thought to myself that Irene probably wouldn't text most of these people, but wasn't as worried about staying perfectly in character as having fun.

Ooo, what do you want to know about it? :D I will talk your ear if you let me. Lestrade is my favorite character in the series and I've spent a great deal of time thinking of a backstory for him. haha.

Well, I couldn't resist having him respond once! He didn't respond to Moriarty at all! Because I'm not a fic writer, I was a bit scared and clung to staying in character as a guide.

I want to know everything you've been thinking about Lestrade! I've been blissed out on a Lestrade and Rupert Graves crush for most of the few months my brain has been devoured by this addictive show. (Watched it for the first time on Jan. 7 this year. Haven't had my brain to myself since.) My LJ used to be a fairly reasonable place until it turned into Lestrade/Rupert Graves Central.

Your John had me laughing SO MUCH. The first couple texts I really wasn't sure what to expect and I was just throwing back my head, cracking up at them. It was fun! :D

It took me a bit to get into it, plus I had my kids driving me nuts at the time as well. Hopefully John will be better prepared next time *G* I tried my best at his Sophomoric humor, and his jealousy towards Irene. He is jealous, we all know he is!

Haha, my one kid stayed (relatively) out of trouble yesterday, but there are some days it's a lot harder to do stuff like this. How old are your kids? :)

Haha, he is definitely jealous! That's one of my favorite things about that episode is how silly and immature he gets in his complete and utter jealousy. XD

The thing about amassing a huge collection of cosplay paraphernalia is that impromptu cosplay becomes easier and easier when you have a huge collection of wigs and costume pieces to choose from. Hahaha.

Ahhhh, so jealous! Wigs are ridiculously overpriced here, but if I could I would be obsessed with them.

Favorite conversation would be the one with Mycroft. Watching footage together, so adorable! Irene is my favorite character next to Sherlock and you played her wonderfully.

Awww, can you buy them online? I bought this one ebay, from China, I believe, for about 20 US dollars, including shipping. Wigs are so much fun. I'm up to 8 now. XD I keep ending up with more and more.

Awww, thank you so much! I hadn't actually properly considered Irene before this. I was too focused on the things they had done with her character that I didn't like, that I never really thought about the parts of her personality I understood and respected. But after this, I have a much greater appreciation for her. She's so naughty and fun. :D

I could, but I'm not about to give up just yet either. I figure I probably haven't been to enough stores yet and I notice it mostly depends on the hair length and the quality of wig you buy, as you have shelf life to consider. Most cosplayers have particular suppliers they trust and come back to, and I'm sure I'll find the right one for me if I keep looking. Right now, I have a short-haired brunette wig for a character I've been planning for ages, but I've found that I can reuse it for various male and female characters, too.

I love how smart and sexy she is, and how beneath all that she's actually this vulnerable person who just wants to love and be loved. And I think that quality about her is her greatest weapon.
