Goblet of Fire was definitely one of my favourites from the series. Not only because there was dragons (many <3s) but because the book had a fair amount of content both inside and outside school along with more mature elements being apparent.

Sadly, I wasn't nearly as happy with the Order of the Phoenix book... but I'm excited for the movie because hopefully it'll be more... awesome. I got tired of Harry's whining pretty fast.

I just think its weird that they killed off a character in G.O.Fire which wasn't all that important. They even seemed to beef up his role in the movie so that it was more tearjerking then I remember it being in the actual book.

I agree! Between the whining and Umbridge I almost couldn't read OotP the first time through. I just finished it for the third time and it was still annoying, but it's really only present for the first half of the book or so. Whenever I try to figure out which book is my very favorite, OotP is always the first one eliminated, lol.

And Cedric's death I think is another stepping stone in the series and the events within the series becoming more serious and grown-up. The first book nothing really terrible happens to anyone... in the second a bunch of students are petrified... by the fourth Someone Actually Dies, in the fifth Sirius dies, the sixth is Dumbledore... things get more and more dire. What major character is going to get killed off in the last book? O.o I dunno, lol, I've always kind of looked at it as a deliberately planned progression. Cedric's death in the movie was heartbreaking ;_;

Anyway, it's nice to hear from you!!! I may be back in FFXI next week O.o; God help me, lol.
