I get to sleep??

My mum just picked up the wormy little black tit-hugger. I get to sleep in more than 20 minute incriments. He's still doing okay. No more little writhing nasties in his faeces, and he lets you know when he wants something. I told my mum to bag up all dirty towels 'cause roundworm is contagious to both animals and humans

yay sleep!! I have been doing that all day (trying to recover). Perhaps it is flat worms not roundworms that I read about but...according to what I read a lot of worms that animals get dont really get to humans....most get under your skin, die, and fall out...apparently we arent very compatible.

In my reading last night, I learned that roundworms are one of the few that do transfer 'well' from animals to humans... although apparently it's typically the canine-type roundworms... but I was hardly interested in taking any risks.
I found myself pondering (after my whopping two hours of sleep) the fascinating-ness of such parasitic worms... I mean, it's truly an example of how we're all, in a way, parasitic... we feed off of each others joy and sorrow, as worms feed off the nutrients of the now poor dead kitten... *sad*

Yeah... he died last night. But they've caught his littermates, and apparently they're all about twice his size... it's probably a miracle that he lived this long...
