I say that I'm not entering any more contests, and what do I do? Enter more contests... meh, it's for fun, I was taking it way too seriously.

It's that time again... when summer starts it's transition into fall. I hate this time of year. The sun weakens and sets earlier, I'm cold as a result. Yes, I'm wearing a sweat-shirt right now, and it's 66 degrees in Northern Maine. I do not transition well from summer to fall, never have. Is it any wonder that I was chosen by a solar diety?

That's it, I've had it with contests. I've entered 5, and have won nothing, not even the contest with three entries. Screw it, those who want to see my pixel art can ask. Maybe this is a bit selfish of me, but I'm sick of not being recognized, to see someone with less accomplishments get ahead while I stay and watch ( Read more... )

I have sad news to break to those who knew him... Hala, aka: Fishy, is no longer among us... He lived a full life for a year in my care, having been rescued from certain death in the hands of the college in May 2005.
