I’m surviving the holidays in a semi-sane state. I say semi because it feels that ever since the holidays have approached my workload has increased tensfold. Out of all the people I know I think that I was the only one who was working even on Christmas Eve. Sometimes busyness is the key to getting through a time that you know won't be pleasureable, I'm certainly a culprit of doing the same. It's only quite recently that I've actually learned there are other ways besides working myself to death to cope with what the holidays bring. And I'm not talking about shoplifting either.

Perhaps in a few years, once I'll become more wise (hopefully), I'll learn how to cope with my feelings better, so that I don't feel compelled to overwork as an attempt to mask unpleasureable emotions from arising.

Anyhow, I wish you a grand 2005. I hope your holidays went by well.
