I know that I’ve been neglecting this journal for the past year or so. I know that I’ve detached myself completely from people that are my closest friends. And the strange this is, I still don’t know why I did it. It all started with a simple malady of the soul, and then it transmuted into something bigger, and before I knew it the darkness had ( Read more... )

It's never too late to build those friendship bridges again.

You know darling that it sometimes happens. We can't really know why we drift into our own Antarctica, but sometimes it takes only but a visit from a friend with to remind you how much you like the sunshine again. Though I do know that both of us are creatures of dark which is why we both tend to drift that way.

I'm just glad that no matter how long we go drifting around Antarctica, when we two do finally run into one another - it's like almost no time at all has passed between us.

I know that you've had your own ice storms to worry over, but a part of me hopes that you've been set free from that a little.

You're one of my closest friends, Em and I think that the reason for that is not simply because we've known each other for such a long time now, but the mere fact that you're one of the few people that I know that I can have a moment of silence come between us without it feeling awkward at all.

Well they've all come and gone gladly so. I'm back to being me and living my life like I'm used to. Freedom is a strange brid, but again a brilliant one!

Exactly. We don't need to speak. Sometimes a simple sigh after sipping a drink, says volumes that we easily understand. We're lucky like that.
