Seeing my daughter this past weekend did me well. She always seems to bring me up. Her mere presence makes me feel better. And I adore how she radiates with light. She's so full of love. The moment our eyes met for the very firt time I was able to capture that love in her. I think that's why I decided to call her Swami, which coincidentally means ( Read more... )

I probably enjoy that film more than I should.

Is it because of the obvious reason or are there other more obscure reasons for enjoying that film?

I could say that it's because Jon is in it, but that's...really not why I like it so much. I love how the family is together. I love the sisters and their rivalry and yet their support for each other. I love how the best friend comes out but still keeps it under wraps. I love how he later tries to help Jess. I love both lead actresses.

But above all else, I love the scene and a half where it is explained to the mother that that girls are not gay. "Get your lesbian feet out of my shoes!" "She's not Lebanese, she's Punjabi." (Please don't kill me for my spelling!) "The reason Jess and I were fighting is because we were both fancied our coach...Joe." "Joe? A man?" "YES! Joe! MAN! Joe!"

haha yeah I loved that part of the film as well. It was quite funny! I found the film amusing but I didn't love the film. For me it was the type of film to watch one time but doesn't deserve a second viewing.

The film just seemed to lack in some areas. For me there had to be more going on between the friends (like show more involvement with thier friendship) and it would've been nice to learn more about other characters as well that didn't seem to have been brought out as much.

Overall it was a good film and funny in some parts. But it wouldn't fall under the memorable films category.
